Description
DESCRIPTION: Syzygium ‘Crimson Lights’ is a lilly pilly that grows to 3m high x 1.5m wide. Evergreen shiny green foliage with brilliant bright crimson coloured new growth. Fast growing. Flowers in summer followed by red-purple edible berries. An Australian Native.
Ideal Conditions: Suited to full sun to part shade. Drought and costal hardy once established. Like well drained soil. Responds well to pruning.
Care and Maintenance: Grows faster with regular watering and feeding over the warmer months. A good all-purpose fertiliser and mulch will aid good growth. Can be trimmed into any hedge or topiary shape. A light trim over spring, summer and autumn will thicken lower growth.
